NHS Inform

NHS Inform is a useful national health information resource. The site provides a lot of useful information regarding how things have had to change in General Practice to respond to the current pandemic as well as providing information on what other primary care services exist which may be more appropriate than making a GP appointment. Click here to go direct to the website to find out more.

NHS Pharmacy First Scotland

This is a new NHS service provided by your local community pharmacy.

If you have a minor illness, a pharmacy is the first place you should go for advice.

You do not usually need an appointment and you can go to any pharmacy. The Pharmacist can give you advice for a minor illness and medicine if they think you need it.

This service is available to any patient registered with a GP practice in Scotland or you live in Scotland. Speak to your local pharmacy team if you require further information.

Pharmacy First provides more information on accessing the service.
